Chapter 4 (Rated R)
Not too long after Kakashi left the brunette did a quick sweep clean of
his home before heading out in order to find the other man. He wasn't sure
what he would say but Iruka never had been great at conversing with others
besides his students. Iruka supposed it was due to the fact the children
didn't look at him with pity like his fellow peers did. "Poor Iruka,
the orphan child..." though now he is 25 he still can hear them whisper
those words whenever he passes. Nevertheless he wouldn't let them get to him;
they didn't know how strong he had become after that fateful time.
Iruka shook his head as though it would wipe away those thoughts
forever. All because Kakashi had spotlighted him couldn't shy away from his
memories as well as he used to. There was just something about the silver-haired
shinobi that pulled at him, like he could tell Kakashi anything… But...
"HIIII IRUKA-SENSEIIII!"
Blinking, the dolphin teacher realized he had instinctively found his
way to Naruto and the rest of his party, all of them wearing a light sheen of
sweat from their training while Kakashi...well Kakashi was sitting in the
shade of a tree with a bright orange book in hand. A light smile came to Iruka's
lips at the sight, he didn't think anything would ever get in the way of the
ninja and his Paradise.
"How are you fairing today?" Iruka asked as the blonde Genin ran over
to him, Naruto having already latched his arms about Iruka's waist in
greeting. Smiling softly Iruka patted the spiked collection of hair before giving
it a thorough ruffle of his fingers sending Naruto into a frenzy, letting go
of his former teacher to try and 'fix' his hair. "Keeping up with the
training I hope."
"He is." Only Iruka's eyes shifted to see Kakashi walking up to the
pair, Icha Icha Paradise held in one hand with an index finger keeping the
page. "Why are you out here Iruka-sensei? I'm sure you have better things to
do with your time."
Iruka frowned lightly and moved his gaze elsewhere, a small sting of
regret hitting his stomach as his words were used back against him, and yet
Kakashi was the picture of calm as though that morning had never happened. "I
came to speak with you, Kakashi-sensei."
"Oh?"
Giving Naruto another smile he moved away from the boy to stand next to
Kakashi's side, lightly tilting his head in the direction away from
Team 7. With a nod, Kakashi waved to his students to carry on training before
falling into step with Iruka barely making any noise at all. When the
two of them had made it out of earshot behind a small clump of trees Iruka
immediately looked at the ground, one hand rubbing the back of his neck
as he decided how he should start.
"I want to apologize for what I said to you. I had no right to act that
way and I hope that you could forgive me today as I am rather stressed
and-"
Iruka's words died in his throat as fingers gently clasped his chin,
tilting his head upwards to meet Kakashi's gaze. About to ask what the meaning
of it was Iruka was silenced by cloth covered lips pressing against his own.
Beyond shocked all the dolphin teacher could do was stand there as
Kakashi continued to tease his mouth while strong arms slid about his waist,
gloved hands clasping at the small of his back.
When Kakashi ended the one-sided kiss he rested his forehead against
Iruka's, the poor man's face was a bright red but was seemingly
paralyzed since Iruka made no movements at all. Smiling behind the mask Kakashi
gave a light squeeze to Iruka's ensnared waist. "You're forgiven."
Those words were Kakashi's undoing.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Suddenly Iruka's fist hooked around to smash
square into Kakashi's cheek sending the dumbstruck Jounin stumbling backwards,
only just catching himself before falling much like Iruka had done in the
past. Meanwhile that very teacher was looking at Kakashi with wide dark eyes,
each staring at one another until Iruka turned sharply and leapt into the
air to disappear out of view.
Kakashi lifted a hand to cautiously probe at the bruised cheek,
unconcerned with the pain as something else came to the forefront...
Why didn't he sense Iruka's attack?

Iruka had finally slowed to a stop on a high rooftop where he sat down
hard enough to make a thump upon the tiles. There he hunched over and held
his head in his hands, fingers mussing up the smooth lines of his pulled
back hair.
A man had kissed him...
He could feel his heart pounding in his chest that didn't help the
uneasy feeling in his stomach, instead it beat in his ears much like it had
when he felt the first bit of warmth against his face as a sign of Kakashi
leaning in closer.
Kakashi had kissed him...
Without touching Iruka knew his lips were faintly puffy, he now knew
the feeling of fabric the Copy Ninja wore upon his face ending a past
question of what it was like to have one cover your mouth. It was silk, finely
crafted silk of some kind made to be snug so you could feel the slide
of it as you spoke, caressing your lips.
His first kiss was from a man named Kakashi...
It was only then Iruka could sense another stir in the pit of his
stomach, something that tingled just right along his spine and creeping about
his waist. Light shivering vibrations Iruka would only have whenever he
was—
No matter where one was in the village, anyone could hear Iruka's voice
as he screamed from the rooftop, causing all activity to cease until the
noise died down and life continued onward.
***
It was nearing evening when Iruka had set out to find the Team 7
teacher and talk about what happened, try and get some answers from the man
about...about...Iruka's cheeks burned with the sudden memory of 'it'.
Too busy dwelling on the event that had the brunette's mind in a clutter
Iruka hadn't even noticed the second shadow he had gained after taking one
turn into a alley between some shops, determined to cut through the village
to seek out the shinobi.
"Out alone again?"
Iruka whipped about only to have a masked face but a scant breath away
from him, his blush increased as well as his heart beat when Kakashi made no
attempt to move away. "Ah, K-Kakashi-sensei! I-I was just looking for
you."
As Kakashi leaned back Iruka let out a sigh of relief while
straightening back up to regain composure, a small voice telling him he only ever
lost control of himself around the mosquito teacher. Said man shoving his
hands into his pockets though the visible eye never moved its focus from
Iruka, remaining silent yet questioning all at once.
"About this afternoon…" Iruka gave an uncomfortable cough, wanting to
keep looking at the Jounin but finding it hard as his gaze always moved to
the mouth hidden behind cloth. "I want to tell you that you are still my
friend and that I’m sorry for hitting you. But also I would like to say that,
um, action won’t happen again."
"If you say so." Again came relief for the brunette when Kakashi’s eye
arched in contentment, Iruka almost sure that there was also a smile to
go along with it. About to smile in return Iruka instead yelled out in
surprise when he felt his back hit the side of a house in the alleyway, a hard
body pressed against his own while silver hair tickled his neck. Iruka
gasped at the feel of a wet tongue gliding across the expanse of sensitive skin,
following an invisible path to his ear where the lobe was nibbled
gently.
"K-Kaka—" Iruka’s voice turned into a ragged hitch of breath upon
feeling Kakashi’s thigh push between his legs, the Jounin’s height forcing
Iruka to straddle his leg with toes barely skimming the ground. The nibbling
then turned away from the dolphin’s ear to instead attack the column of his
neck, teasing out confused gasps or half-strangled moans. Iruka instinctively
arched his back off the wall from the moist kisses, grinding him on
Kakashi’s muscled thigh.
Iruka’s head was spinning from the new sensations, hands meant to push
the man away instead grasped his shoulders for better support as he
shamelessly thrusted his hips, eager for more friction against the growing bulge in
his pants. The whisper of a soft chuckle reached his ear as Kakashi’s hands
slide down Iruka’s back to grab his buttocks, squeezing the globes
gently while pulling the smaller man further up his leg.
Kakashi’s clever hands moved upwards, fingertips brushing the waistband
of Iruka’s pants before slipping inside to feel the heated skin beneath.
There was a quivering gasp and Iruka flexed his fingers, clutching the fabric
of the mosquito’s shirt, flushed skin marked by droplets of sweat pressed
against Kakashi’s cheek as the edge of oblivion was nearing, the sensation
building inside.
"No more kisses…" The skirt of breath along the shell of Iruka’s ear
was his only warning before Kakashi let his hold go, the poor teacher crumbled
to the ground with a strangled moan as he was so close to completion only
to be left teetering on the brink. Kakashi crouched down mask already back in
place before cupping Iruka’s burning cheek in hand, thumb caressing the
lower lip. "Think of me while I’m gone. My mission is over five days
long, it will give you time to consider telling me the truth."
But a second later there was only wisps of smoke where Kakashi once
stood leaving Iruka alone in the alleyway, panting and wanting and worried
and confused all at once…
