About Iruka:
Full Name: Iruka Umino

He's the kind but strong Chuunin (middle-classed ninja). Iruka trains children at the Ninja Academy in the Leaf Village to become Genin. He makes his first appearance in the series as Naruto's sensei. While he does teach many children at the academy, he seems to have a stronger bond with Naruto than the rest of his students. The reason for that being that he acknowledges the similarities that his younger self has with the boy. Like Naruto, Iruka had grown up alone because his parents died when he was very young. They were killed in a fight against Kyuubi aka the Nine Tails Fox Demon. Even though Iruka knows that the demon was sealed within Naruto, he does not him as Kyuubi.

Iruka is always looking after Naruto. He is also one of the few in the beginning of the series who believe in his potential. But there are still times in the series where Iruka is amazed by what the boy can do when faced with a threat. However, that doesn't stop Iruka from worrying about him from the sidelines. He wants Naruto to succeed however, he does not want him to be pushed to hard which is why he is often shown trying to find out how he is doing. The fact that Kakashi is Naruto's new sensei makes him worry even more. From the beginning, Iruka has been kind of suspicious of Kakashi because he found out that Naruto's team was the only group that he accepted in his entire teaching career. Despite the fact that he is no longer Naruto and the other's sensei, he is willing to go through extremes to protect his former students even if it means confronting Kakashi.
